3D Modelling - Coffee cup

To achieve this, I used the B-Spline tool, I drew the shape of what I wanted the shape of the cup to look like. I put the points on and it made it into a curve as I plotted the points, I could always change this as I had joined all the points up. After I'd done my points I did a LatheNURBS so it mirrored the points on the other side and it would look like a cup when I switched to the Perspective view.

This is what LatheNURBS looks like in Perspective view.
This shows the steps of what I have done in the process of creating my coffee cup.

Then to add the handle of the mug I went back to the front view. I added a circle from the line menu, the same menu I selected the B-Spline line from in the first step. After I had drawn the handle with the B-Spline tool, I did a SweepNURBS to smooth over the points.
The above picture shows what the handle looks like in Front view.

This is what the finished product looks like, with the handle added. As you can see its starting to look like an actual cup.
